Technical Support Representative Position

Design & Marketing, Inc. is a growing, dynamic
Web design firm in the Central Florida Area. We
are seeking a professional, skilled and friendly Level I Customer/Technical Support Representative to assist on our 24/7 support team.
Responsibilities:
- Answers telephone calls, troubleshoots and answers technical and sales escalation questions.
- Answers live chat requests via AJT's support website. (www.ajtsupport.com)
- Setup new accounts, assist with after hour sales related questions, verify new accounts manually.
- Adds features to accounts via billing manager when requested.
- Answers Billing tickets on the Help Desk
- Answers Help Desk tickets in Support
- Answers Help Desk tickets in Escalation
- Escalate Network Issues to Network Administrator
- Reads, troubleshoots and answers sales/billing emails.
- Continues development of systems knowledge to more effectively answer calls.
- Web Host Control panel responsibilities including but not limited to: transferring accounts to different servers, changing passwords and changing primary domain
- Coordinate domain transfer requests
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to work various days and hours, either remotely or at AJT's Orlando office.
Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of operating principles, practices, and procedures within area of business specialty.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. (Extremely important)
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix web hosting enviornments
- Ability to learn AJT's DSM (Domain System Manager) software as well as AJT's web hosting control panel software.
- Ability to work productively and efficiently to meet deadlines and quotas
- Attention to detail
- Analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards
Other
desirable skills:
- Comfortable with HTML
- Accounting and book keeping experience
- Experience with online billing systems

- Good personality, enthusiasm, like the public
and react well to multiple and sometimes conflicting
demanding tasks.
