Web Designer Position

AJT Design & Marketing, Inc. seeks an innovative candidate in web design and development to create, develop, implement and maintain web sites, services and products in a surrounded environment of innovation and new technologies. The desired candidate is curious, likes changes and innovation in addition of having a good cultural background and internet knowledge. The candidate can create killer graphics and web sites design, structure and compelling content that will appeal the imagination of our future customers and keep them returning on a regular basis.

Skills:

• 5 years of professional experience in web design/development.
• Experience with HTML and the integration of creative and functional aspects.
• Ability to work independently and be able to handle multiple projects under pressure.
• Strong understanding of capabilities and constraints of different Operating Systems and browsers.
• Ability to maintain an awareness of project deadlines and the ability to communicate project status, risks and other issues.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to portray Internet concepts to clients.
• Knowledge of the Windows operating system is a must.
• Knowledge of Unix is highly desirable.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop, Illustrator and PHP is required.
• Experience working with Flash MX, is desirable.

Other desirable skills:

The candidate has extensive knowledge of HTML, DHTML, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver or FrontPage; Flash, Fireworks; JavaScript; Streaming Video; e-Commerce and database integration. He is also capable of creating a web page using notepad.

Other pluses:

Good personality, enthusiasm, like the public and react well to multiple and sometimes conflicting demanding tasks.
